30.7.08 YELLOW ROSE CMC DEVON - We recieved a call from Mel at the Yellow Rose Cmc, Newton Abbot, Devon on the 29th July asking why we wasnt at their club.
We previously spoke to Mel organising dates at their club for 2009. At the same time we asked her to cancel our date with them for the 29th July due to this been the only date in that area.
Sorry to Mel and anyone who travelled to see us for the misunderstanding. WE WILL BE BACK AT THE YELLOW ROSE CMC ON TUES 21 JULY 2009
30.7.08 BRITISH FANFAIR 09 - It Has been confirmed that Clear Cut will be performing at the British Fanfair 2009 at Ladram Bay, Otterton, Devon.
30.7.08 SCOTLAND 2009 - We will be touring Scotland in December 09. Tour dates are Between 3rd to 13 Dec. Dates unfilled are Sunday 6th Dec, Tues 8th Dec and Thurs 10 Dec, so if you run a club in that area, and would like to book Clear Cut on one of them dates, please contact us on 0113 2934264
13.5.08 - LETTER FROM MR PITMAN - I saw you on Friday at Trowbridge, I must say you are one of the best acts I have seen in a very long time. The music and songs were brilliant and the volume just right. I think you have a real winner, I hope to get you next year at our club at Frome, All the best for the future.

23.5.08 - EMAIL FROM DENVER JUNCTION - I just wanted to thank you both for your excellent delivery of what keeps our members happy and that is GOOD COUNTRY SOUNDS.
I am instructed to secure further bookings with you and will suffer the consequences if I do not.
On a more serious note, our crowd truly enjoyed your performance on Friday night and words like "brilliant", "marvellous" and "the best this year" are still echoing through the hall. I would like to thank you both for your dedication to country music as it shows in your performance that you care about your sounds as well as your audience.
I sincerely hope that you will consider making a return visit to us here in Charlton and I will check the gig guides to see if we can get to another venue in order to see you both again.

29.3.08 - CLEAR CUT COMING HOME - Clear Cut will be performing at the Clear Cut Country Music Club, on WED 4th JUNE 2008. Chris Raddings will be appearing on WED 2nd July 2008
28.3.08 - WARD 28 CHARITY - A last minute date was put in to our diary on the 25 March to appear at The Exservicemans Club in Brigg. The event was a charity night for Ward 28 of Scunthorpe General. This was a incredible night were a staggering £1400.00 was raised for the ward. Other acts appeared on the night were MIDNIGHT TRAIN, WHISKEY UNDER THE BRIDGE AND DARREN BUSBY.
28.3.08 - PORTUGAL 2009 - We are just in talks about doing a Country Music Festival for Speed Limit in March next year..... More Details to Follow
26.3.08 - WALESBY - We have just returned from our first appearance at the Walesby Country Music Festival. Many Thanks to all the organisers and staff who help to run this great little festival. Hopefully we will be back at the Wallesby Festival next year. A special Thank You to Nick and Anita from Country Contrast, Phil Lloyd, Dave Bryan and Tim Mckay. We had a great time.
26.3.08 - LORD MAYOR OF LEEDS - Clear Cut will be doing a guest appearance for the Lord Mayor Of Leeds at the Civic Hall, Leeds on Monday 7th April. Other acts will be performing on the evening but unfortunately all tickets are sold out.
24.3.08 - AMERICANA INTERNATIONAL - It has been confirm that Clear Cut will be appearing at the Nott's Americana 2008 on Sunday 13 July 2008.
Due to this date been added to the diary, Riverside Caravan Park, Southport has been moved from Saturday 12 July to Saturday 19th July.
31.7.07 BELVEDERE CMC - Our opogise to anyone who travelled to see us at the Belvedere Park Club, Burton on Trent on Sunday 29th July 2007. Darren was mowing the lawn in the afternoon (Yes he does gardening!!!) when suddenly his back gave way. Don rushed him down to A&E as he was having trouble breathing. The docs at ST JAMES tested his heart and got the all clear. As first thought, Darren has pulled some musles in his back and has been told to rest for a few days. Many Thanks to TIM McKAY for stepping in at such short notice to help out. Clear Cut will be on the road as normal.
27.6.07 - LITTLE WILLY'S CMC - On Tuesday 26th June we had to unfortunately cancel our gig at the Little Willy's CMC, Stanway Rovers FC, Colchester due to the amount of flooding in the north of England. We set off in plenty of time due to the weather conditions but unfortunately the M1 Southbound was closed. After diverting across to the A1 southbound, that too had been closed down. After sat in traffic for 2 hours we decided we was loosing our battle with the traffic. Our apologies to John and Avril (Little Willy's CMC) and to everyone who travelled to see us. However, we will be performing again at this venue on Tues 11th September 2007 and look forward to seeing everyone.
24.6.07 - ITS A GIRL!!! - On Thursday 22nd of June 2007 we had a new edition to our family. Erin Rose Pigott weighing 6.4" was born in St James Hospital Leeds. Both baby and mom (Donna, Dons Daughter) are doing really well. Erin will be the second Grand Child to Don and second niece to Darren.
13.6.07 - SILVER DOLLAR CMC - We have just had a phone call from Lynn Chelsea Artistes and informs me the SWINDON SILVER DOLLAR CMC has now closed.
This means our gig on the Friday 20 July 07 will be taken out. Since moving to their new venue - Stratton Royal RBL. Please support your country music clubs.
13.6.07 - CHANGE OF DATE - . Please note that Sunday 24th June 07 has now been change to Sunday 28th October 07. Ann (organiser) has been in hospital recently and wont be fit enough to run the club. On the 28th we'll be appearing with our mate HAYDENS COUNTRY
13.6.07 - NEW COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL FOR CC - Clear Cut will be making their debut performance at the ALAMO COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL, Edenham Village, Nr Bourne, Lincolnshire August 1st 2008. Also apearing on there will be sheffields own, Johnny Willaims. For more deatils Ring Dave 017783 46158
05/06/2007 - We have just recieved a call from Little John at Amigos Lucky 13 CMC, Sidcup Social, Sidcup, Kent. Unfortunately he has lost the venue so he is having to cancel our date on Friday 6th July 2007....we hope you get another venue sorted John and look forward to seeing you all soon.
05/06/2007 - New date for the diary. Staurday 21st June 2008 we will be appearing at Eden Valley CMC, Edenbridge, Kent. Whilst talking to the organiser (Neville) he reminded us that the last time we performed there (11 year ago) we won Band of the Year with Sundown.

- We have just been ask to perform at the Wylde Country Music Club, The Unicorn Hotel, North Road, Preston on Tues 18th July 2006. Also appearing that night will be THE STEVE JAMES DUO from Scotland and also Miss DONNA WYLDE. Doors open from 730pm, Free entry plus raffles.
